All my sites were attacked!

Hi everyone! The past 3 hours was jut crazy for me! I just have to share it with everyone! I just couldn’t believe that all the PHP files for all of my sites that were hosted were all attacked by some hacker with some PHP injection at the beginning of the file. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one, and others were attacked in the past. It seemed to have happened yesterday, and I realized it this afternoon when I was using my ftp client to update some files. I got quite a shock when I realized what was going on. I did some searching online, and found this fix at stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8035539/sitewide-find-and-replace It worked perfectly. I had to log in to my host via SSH terminal, and execute the find commands. I also had to create my own find commands to delete some php files that were placed in almost all the folders/subfolders in my hosting account. In addition, I had to delete almost all the htaccess files, and replace them with more robust ones. Thank God I caught this early.
